Dr.-Ing. Yves Wild
Dr. Wild (born 1964) was one of the first students to study marine engineering at “TU Hamburg-Harburg” (Technical university of Hamburg, final degree: Dipl.-Ing. (TU)). In parallel to this, he studied law at Hamburg University, which he aborted after his admission for the first state examination in favor of a promotion at TUHH about reefer containers and controlled atmosphere (CA).
Since 1993, Dr. Wild is managing director of Dr.-Ing. Yves Wild Ingenieurbüro GmbH and since 2001 he is publicly certified expert for refrigeration systems . From 2001 to 2014 he was chairman of the expert committee for ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration of the Schiffbautechnischen Gesellschaft e.V. (STG). Since 2014 he is member of the board of the Deutschen Kälte- und Klimatechnischen Vereins e.V. (DKV).
Gerd Schröder, M.Sc.
Gerd Schröder (born 1988) works for Dr.-Ing- Yves Wild Ingenieurbüro GmbH since February 2014. He completed his bachelor studies in mechanical engineering with a thesis about the heat transition at the human neck. After this, he he did his master in energy and environmental engineering (2011-2012). During his master his main focus was the heat and substance transition. His master thesis treated the heat transition of pipe-ribs heat exchangers under dehumidification conditions. Besides the common refrigeration engineering, Gerd’s main activity in the company are split- air-conditioners and complex hydraulic systems.
Dipl.-Ing. Jan Philipp Rückert
Jan Philipp Rückert (born 1985) is an employee of Dr.-Ing. Yves Wild Ingenieurbüro GmbH since October 2015. Jan Philipp Rückert studied mechanical engineering with emphasis on energy technology. With his diploma thesis he addressed the optimisation of phase-change-material-cooling-systems. Following the graduation, he worked as research assistant at the Institute of Thermo-Fluid Dynamics of the Technische Universität Hamburg-Harburg. He investigated the cooling of batteries with and without a phase change of the refrigerant.
Paavo Hilber (born 1989) joined the Dr.-Ing- Yves Wild Ingenieurbüro GmbH in January 2016. His basic studies were on energy an environmental engineering at the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg (TUHH) completing with his bachelor thesis, researching the influence of additives on the structural properties of different biomass pellets. Following up his bachelor studies he continued with the master program “Renewable Energies” at the TUHH. Paavo Hilber gained the academic title M. Sc. in an international research project abroad including his master thesis about a feasibility study and simulation of excess heat integration of a photovoltaic-coupled “Power-to-Gas” plant.
Dipl.-Ing. oec. (TU) Clemens Aipperspach
Clemens Aipperspach (born 1981) collaborates with Yves Wild for more than ten years. He completed his engineering degree in industrial engineering (specialization process engineering and logistics) with a diploma thesis about the use of absorption refrigerators aboard of trading ships. After he became freelancer with a consultancy firm, he is active as an expert on mission for Dr. Wild Ingenieurbüro. His main focus is the field of refrigeration logistics (transport and storage), energy efficiency/ carbon footprints as well as Visual Basic- based simulation calculus in varying application fields. Recently Clemens Aipperspach is a PhD at TU Hamburg-Harburg (in cooperation with the Fraunhofer center for maritime logistics, CML). His promotion will be about the analysis of greenhouse gas emissions of the refrigerated transport on sea.
